Robert Spano
Robert is a partner in the London and Paris offices and the co-chair of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Practice Group. He practices in the field of EU litigation, international dispute resolution and advises on regulatory matters. Robert is a leading expert in public international law, business and human rights, EU law and the law of the European Convention on Human Rights, bringing unparalleled experience from senior roles in the judiciary, private practice and academia. He is the former president of the European Court of Human Rights, the youngest judge ever to be elected to the presidency in the Court’s 60 year history.
Helle Krunke
Helle is Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Copehenagen where she is the Head of Centre for European, Comparative, and Constitutional Studies (CECS). Her research interests include parliamentary control of EU policy and foreign affairs, democracy in the EU, constitutionalisation process in the EU, balance of powers between EU institutions and between the European and national level, constitutional change, constitutional identity.Helle is also the President of the International Association of Constitutional Law (IACL).
Giovanni Pitruzzella
Giovanni is currently serving as a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Italy after serving as Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU). Before that, he was appointed President of the Italian Competition and Market Authority from 2011 to 2018. He is Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Palermo and his research interest have extensively focused on constitutional law and competition law.
Andrea Renda
Andrea is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of the CEPS Unit on Global Governance, Regulation, Innovation and the Digital Economy (GRID). He is Adjunct Professor of Digital Policy at the School of Transnational Governance of the European University Institute, in Florence (Italy). Andrea is a non-resident Senior Fellow at Duke University’s Kenan Institute for Ethics, and Visiting Professor of Competition Policy and the Digital Economy at the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium). In the recent past, Andrea was a member of the EU High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence, and a member of the Task Force on AI of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
