The Commission has designed Apple as a gatekeeper under the Digital Markets Act (DMA) in relation to its operating system iPadOS. Consequently, to comply with the Regulation, Apple must allow users to set the default web browser of their choice on iPadOS, allow the use of alternative app stores and permit the use of alternative accessory devices. On 1 November, Apple submitted its compliance report, which the Commission will assess, in consideration also of the input of intersted stakeholders.
